The customer display (dual screen)

Show the customer their basket, the total and the change due on a second screen.

Before you start

The customer display is a paid module: Customer display (dual screen) (Modules tab).

Opening it#

  • On the same device: in the till, … menu > Customer display. A window (1024 × 768) opens; drag it onto the second screen.
  • On another device: open /{your-organisation}/customer-display on a device logged into the same organisation and location.

Between two devices the state is relayed by the server; after a drop-out the last state is replayed if it is less than 5 minutes old.

What it shows#

  • Idle: the screensaver and "Welcome".
  • During the order: the lines, the Discount and the Total.
  • At payment: Amount due, Received and Change due.
  • After the sale: "Thank you, see you soon!" for 6 seconds.
