The QR menu: ordering from a phone
Table and counter QR codes, what the customer sees, and how the order reaches the till for validation.
Before you start

The public menu is at /{your-organisation}/menu. To order, you need the Customers module and online ordering switched on (Modules tab). Without them, or without a QR code, the menu stays a simple card to read.
The two kinds of QR code#
- Table QR: generated in Floor plan > Table QR codes. It is signed and never expires; once scanned it opens a 60-minute session on that table and forces Dine in.
- Counter QR: shown on the kiosk welcome screen. It lasts 10 minutes and renews every 4 minutes; the customer chooses Takeaway or Delivery.
Without a valid session, the customer can only browse: "Menu — scan the QR code on site to order."
What the customer sees#
- Categories (All, Combos), allergens, +/− quantity buttons, a note per line.
- Combos if enabled (off by default), and "A little extra?" if suggestions are enabled too.
- View my order, then Your details: at a table, name and phone are optional; at the counter, name and phone are required, plus the address for delivery.
- On sending: Order received! and a pickup number. No status tracking.
The menu is French only; its style (Classic, Showcase, Card) follows the Appearance tab.
At the till#
The order arrives held, with the pill "Table QR · to validate" or "Online · to validate". Stock is deducted as soon as it is sent. Staff validate it to send it to the kitchen, as for a kiosk order (online orders).
